Tundra is a market leading winter bean variety. It is pale skinned with a pale hilum colour, suitable for both the human consumption and feed markets.
Tundra has consistently shown good yield potential; 4% above that of Wizard.
Tundra has very good agronomic attributes; very similar in many ways to Wizard.
Tundra is a moderately short straw variety, with good standing ability and an earlier maturity. It has very good protein content, suitable to the premium export markets for human consumption. Tundra, as all current RL winter beans, is colour flowered and has a high tannin type.
